The 2024 fall collection from YOHEI OHNO plays in the dissonant space between the sophisticated, grown-up world of luxury and the eternal child in all of us. One part of the show's performance was scent design to suit the unique atmosphere of the collection, and that is where SAIL found our role. The aroma's concept of "music classroom" was proposed to us by the fashion brand's eponymous designer himself, Yohei Ohno, and served as the touchstone of the scent design process. Sweet timber, old cloth, and heavyset piano scents — essential oils from mandarin, atlas cedarwood, peru balsam, patchouli, oakmoss, and more. The aroma draws you in with that "music classroom" smell we've all experienced to create a fragrant expression of modern nostalgia. Designed by SAIL's scent director, Yoko Yamafuji, this quirky yet stylish room spray evokes in each person their own nostalgia, memories, and the sense of comfort and belonging that travels with them from the past into the present.
